Mighty Moores Hurling Awards 2022
We had a great night celebrating another successful year for Moorefield Underage hurling. Well done to the Under-13, 14 & 16 teams were presented with their winning medals. Congratulations to all of our award winners for 2022. Enjoy the break and we look forward to seeing you in 2023.

Hurl on the Green
8th October
Well done to everyone who joined us in Pairc Mhuire for our last Hurl on the Green for 2022. It was a great afternoon of hurling and camogie and we were lucky to be joined by our winning Under-14 Hurling team and cup!

17th September
We had another great ‘Hurl on the Green’ in The Oaks and were delighted to welcome lots of boys and girls who have never played hurling and camogie before.
Thanks to The Oaks’ Residents Association who allowed us to hold the event…. We look forward to coming back for some more fun!
A special mention to Spar Ballymany who sponsored goodie bags for all of the players.

4th September
We had a fantastic first ‘Hurl on the Green’ yesterday in Curragh Grange and were very lucky to have a rain free hour to enjoy some hurling and camogie.
Well done to all of the boys and girls who took part. It was great to see some new faces trying hurling and camogie for the first time! Thanks to the Curragh Grange Residents Association who allowed us to hold the event.
Thanks to our mentors who made the hour so much fun. A special mention to Jordan’s Centra who sponsored goodie bags for all of the players.

Cumann na mBunscol 2022
25th October
Hard luck to Ballymany who lost to Milltown in a very close game in the Cumann na mBunscol hurling final today. A special mention to Mighty Moores Jake Ryan, Victor Kurbiel, Cole Sheridan, Dean Murnaghan, Owen Murphy, Ollie Hanniffy, Miley Delaney,Jamie Moore, Odhran Byrne and Charlie Flood.
Moorefield hurlers Daragh Kemmy Cullen, Aidan and Ronan Carroll & Sean and Rian Coleman were very lucky to have some Kildare Senior Hurlers present their Gaelscoil team with their Cumann na mBunscol Division 4 winners medals. They’re also pictured with their Cumann na mBunscol trophy and the Christy Ring Cup. Thanks to all of the teachers for their continued support!
