Moorefield U8 hurlers finished the Autumn League in style with a fantastic game against Sarsfields. The game was played in great spirit and was competitive from the throw-in to the final whistle. Our defence was rock solid – from Cian in goal to our backs Cormac and Charlie who made some great clearances up the field. Mark and Ronan were excellent in midfield, closing down the opposition and battling for every ball. Our forwards Oisín and Rory showed great determination in front of goal, which resulted in a stunning goal and a point from Sean and Gearóid. A big welcome also to Patrick who has recently joined the team and a welcome back to Calum – both added greatly to the team performance today. Moorefield Abú!!
2nd October
Well done to our U8 hurlers who played St. Laurence’s this morning in the Autumn League. This was a very competitive game with the sides evenly matched. Our lads battled hard as a team and their progress and development since the start of the season is fantastic to see. Well done everyone!

Our U8 hurlers maintained their strong start to the Autumn League with a great match at home against Round Towers. The team battled tough weather conditions to produce an excellent display and are really gaining momentum in this League. Well done everyone!!

Well done to our U8 hurlers who had a fantastic start to the Autumn League this morning in Athy. This was a great team effort – some fantastic saves in goal, relentless battling in the backs, intelligent play in midfield and some super goals scored. Well done everyone!!
