Under 12 Fixtures 2017

Moorefield U12 hurlers played in an invitational mini blitz in Gracefield GAA (Portarlington Co. Offaly) on 15th July. It was in commemoration of the opening of their new dressing rooms. Other clubs represented there were Rosenallis and Portarlington, both Co. Laois. It was great to experience hurling from other counties and every child gave it their best. Moorefield were not without skill, passion and heart and represented their club and county well. Well done and thank you to everyone who came. Achadh Mhórdha Abu! #Moores2017

2nd June Cup and Shield semis for U12

17th June Cup and shield finals for U12

7th April

Our U12’s played a challenging game against Maynooth 1, this evening up in the club. They are improving with each performance and challenged for every ball. Our next game is in two weeks time away to Cappagh. A big thank you to everyone for making the effort to get there this evening.

21st April

Our U12’s played a competitive, tough game in Cappagh last night. While the score line didn’t go our way the boys showed great tenacity and were in the game all the way through. Their skill level is improving with every game and their competitiveness is unquestionable. Well done to everyone for their effort. Next game is Friday at home against Kilcock.

28th April

Moorefield U12 hurlers played their fourth game of the league against Kilcock in the club last night. It was a close encounter with both sides evenly matched. Every Moorefield player was giving their best and their improvement in each game was evident. Well done to all the team. Our next game is away next Friday against Western Gaels.

5th May

Our U12’s played a tough close game tonight against Western Gaels in Blessington this evening. On a dry pitch ideal for ground hurling, Moorefield played the game at a fast pace. Unfortunately the strong cross wind made scoring difficult for both sides. Moorefield gave great displays of hooking, blocking, ground flicks and ran their legs off right to the very end. Well done lads. Our next league game is at home next Friday against Leixlip.
