Féile B 2017

Photographs

Well done to our Under-14 team and management who participated in the Féile na Gael 2017. They were unlucky to be beaten in the Shield Semi-Final by just one point but had a great experience and the improvement in all the players was evident. A massive thanks to all of the parents and supporters who travelled down. Your help and support was really appreciated. A big thank you to our sponsors Pabo Caffrey, Dominic Kavanagh, Mick Keogh and Murphy International. St Mogues GAA in Fethard were amazing hosts. A special mention to Jim Byrne who couldn’t do enough for  the team. Jim’s dad, Hugh, has a football and hurling championship medal for Moorefield ’62 and ’63. Congratulations to our host club, St Mogues, Fethard On Sea on winning the Division 5 Cup.

Our Under-14 hurlers are heading to Wexford this weekend for their Féile competition. The team reached the Féile final in April and were unlucky to lose to a strong Naas side. The boys have been training hard all year in preparation for the weekend and are looking forward to representing Moorefield and Kildare in the Féile B Competition. It’s a great achievement to participate in Féile and we wish the team and management the very best!
