Round 1

Moorefield U11 (2) played a entertaining match against Kilcock on Sunday afternoon. Although a bit of rustiness was evident, they played good open hurling and never stopped working hard throughout the match. Well done lads. As you can see from the photos, they have moves for off the pitch also. Training is on Monday nights at 6.30pm in the club.

Round 2

Moorefield had two U11 hurling teams representing the club yesterday morning. One team  played Ardclough and the other team played Eire Og Corra Choill. Well done to everyone for coming along and representing their club. Everyone played their best and did the club proud. Our next U11 games are in two weeks time, details will be texted closer to the date. Don’t forget training Monday at 6.30pm

28th May

Our U11 hurlers had two competitive games over the weekend. On Friday evening they played Naas in Division 1, in a fast moving, skilful game from start to finish.
On Sunday afternoon they played Cappagh in Division 2 on a warm afternoon in the club. It was a great game with the players showing skills and enthusiasm. Training again tomorrow evening (Monday) at 6.30pm. See you then.

9th June

Moorefield U11 hurlers played Confey in a Division 2 league game on the Green Road this evening. Two evenly matched teams showed their skills of blocking, free taking, ground flicks, jab lifts etc. The inclement weather didn’t put the players or supporters off, neither did the large puddle of water near one of the goals. Well done to debutants Nathan, Brian and Cormac, they slotted in nicely Ito the team.

11th June

Moorefield under-11’s played a spirited game in the club this afternoon against a very sporting Celbridge side. Blocking and ground strokes were skills most on display today. A few tired legs were evident from a busy schedule, but true to Moorefield spirit, the lads kept going. Very best of luck to all the boys playing for the respective schools tomorrow in the Cumann na mBunscoil semi-final Scoil Mhuire V Patricians.

7th July

Moorefield U11 hurlers completed their Spring League last night and it was fitting that the game was played in ideal conditions in a derby match with Sarsfields. Both sides played a full on competitive game and gave it everything. They represented their clubs, town and the game of hurling well. Well done to Alex, Aaron, Tom, Darragh B, Dylan, Eoin, Josh, Darragh H, Tommy, Jack, Mark and Gavin.
