RULES for U14 Hurling league Competition July 2017
Normal GAA Playing Rules Apply
15 a side games
Exception to 15 a side to be competition specified
Play Off – i.e Semi-finals & Quarter finals to be competition specified
All Finals play 15 a side
Clash of Jerseys Rule will apply
Any team giving a walk over cannot qualify for playoffs or knock out section
Any team giving Two Walk Overs will be disqualified from competition and subsequent games
Referees decision on score is deemed correct and final
All games must be up to date before last round are played
Teams that have not completed all games in league section shall not qualify for knock outs. Where games have been changed with coordinator sanction the coordinator has final decision on date of re-fixture.
Only in exceptional circumstances can a club appeal to Bord CCC re walkover – there will be no appeal in relation to last round walkovers
U14 Hurling League 2017 is 15 a side –
Normal Rules apply with one exception – All puck outs from the 20M line
The Top 2 Teams will qualify for Finals – team 3&4 play Shield final
If home venue is unplayable match must be transferred to oppositions ground
Sufficient notice must be given in the event of match transfer
Teams who give walkovers cannot qualify for playoff stage and if they give TWO walkovers they will be disqualified from the competition.
If teams finish level on points the following will determine group placings
All match results must be sent to the Division Coordinator by text or email
In the event of any dispute re score difference the referee’s score is deemed correct and final.
