Moorefield U13 hurlers played an exciting league game this afternoon in the club. Excellent skills of hand passing, ground hurling, hooking and blocking were on display. Moorefield pulled ahead only to be clawed back by St. Laurence’s. Next match is at home on Sunday 14th Oct V Broadford. Achadh Mhórdha abú!

Moorefield U13 hurlers had a great game away to Coill Dubh this evening. Fifteen Moorefield lads with their backs to the wall took on a young Coill Dubh side. From one to fifteen every one played very well, took their scores, hooked, blocked, ran long solo runs, cleared their defense. They represented the club with pride. Training again on Monday at 6.30pm.
Moorefield U13 hurlers got their Cross County League off the ground yesterday up in the club. A competitive game was had with neighbours Sallins. This being their first game back, Moorefield lads were tired and gave it everything right to the end. It’s a solid start by Moorefield with plenty of promise for the season. Well done to the footballers who did well in their game the previous day. The next U13 hurling game is scheduled for Sat 3rd March. Time to be finalized.
