Round Towers vs Moorefield (Winners)
The Under-16 hurlers travelled to Kildare to play Round Towers in a must win game and they put up a strong performance to come out 8 point winners. Moorefield started well and were 5 points to 2 up after the first quarter with points from Sam Ryan, Josh Brannigan and Niall Barry. Moorefield led at the break by 10 points to 1-02 with Cormac O’ Shaughnessy also getting on the score sheet. Moorefield started off the second half with a goal from back turned forward Connor Price and from there they never looked back. Further scores from Brannigan and Shane Delmer and a goal from Sam Ryan sealed the win for the team. Well done to the team and management.

Our U16 hurlers had a friendly match against Portlaoise today and thankfully the weather held off. It was a good competitive game leaving us with many positives to work on before our league starts in 3 weeks time.
