Thanks to Alan O’Neill who kindly sponsored our Under-11, Under-12 and Under-13 hurlers new tops! Aldo is a great supporter of our hurling section and played underage hurling with Moorefield at Under-16, Minor and Under-21s in the 80’s.
Our Under-11, Under-12 and Under-13 hurlers had their end of year celebrations yesterday morning at Foot Golf Kildare. Great fun was had by all! Looking forward to seeing you all back in the new year.

Moorefield U13 hurlers played an exciting league game this afternoon in the club. Excellent skills of hand passing, ground hurling, hooking and blocking were on display. Moorefield’s U9 hurlers were on the road again last Sunday morning in the Autumn League. They played Leixlip who were short a few players which meant it was a 7-a-side game. Unfortunately this meant we had a number of substitutes and it was difficult for the team to get going with so many changes from quarter to quarter. However, the boys did themselves and the club proud with some superb defending and some fine quality points. Well done lads! Continue reading
